  4. I love the delicious account. It's another great way to store information via websites. Wikkis and blogs confuse me a bit, but I guess I'll get used to them. Perhaps we'll get more practice this week so I become more comfortable. I also didn't realize how much Google has to offer now. A lot of it I can't use because it's really not appropriate for elementary age kids, but there are a great many teacher tools that will be useful.

  5. Yikes! So much info...so little brain space available after vacationing for a few weeks. It is really great to be in "the playground" and really be using the technology- I'm happy to be playing. I look forward to more of the same so I can really become fluent.

  6. Everything was good for me, except for all of the sitting down. I will try to sneak outside at the breaks a bit more tomorrow. There is a lot to learn about. I really feel like we need a month.

  7. I like summary hand outs or note pages. Something to wrap my mind around.

  8. A lot to absorb today already. Now to process it all. I appreciate the amount of time that we have/will have to explore new technology and work on our project.

  9. I agree with Anton, I'd love some kind of summary notes that will help me organize all this. Yes, as a Digital Immigrant I still like hard copies of stuff!

  10. There was so much new information today. I know that I will need to explore these things over time in order to understand them a bit more.

  14. I have already learned so much. I set up a wiki, a blog, a Flickr account, used Wordle, and so much more. Now I need to remember all that I did today to add them to my classes.

  15. I am a bit overwhelmed.. I seem to have a harder time getting my password to work than doing the actual activity!

  16. Blogger, Wiki, Thinkature , wow! When you say this is like learning a new language. It is all Latin to me:)

  17. There are so many ways to communicate and to find information. It's fun to discover how it all works.

  18. Thank you to Joanne & Lisa. I really appreciate the time to play, learn and work on integrating technology into the classroom.

  19. Like Maureen, I am overwhelmed and I had a hard time with passwords working. And I tried to have the same password for all.
VoiceThread was a great discovery. I am thinking about how to do this with artist's statements and with class critiques. Although, I am still uncertain about having a computer in between the people and the artwork. The computer's presence assures most participate. mjn

  21. I am a Digital Immigrant, but one of the early ones, having fool around with computers since 1980. Like Anton, I would love to see all this info, in condensed form, on some sort of handy "cheat sheet", printed on good old fashioned paper that I can hold in my hand, and perhaps, even insert into my old fashioned notebook.

  22. I see that a few of you would like some cheat sheets. I tried to summarize what we did today on the Moodle page - listed as a new topic under Day One. Is that enough or would you like a word document with a list of sites and a few hints? I can copy and paste into a document format if that is better for you. Let us know. We'll do our best to make this work for everyone.

  23. Smarboard and photo story are the best! They will work well for different social studies group assignments! Maureen
